Some experiences require booking or a fee. Festival-only shuttles connect Dongnae Station Exit 3 to the Cultural Center and Myeongjang Station Exit 3 to Bokcheon Museum parking; they do not serve every part of the fortress. Why go
Dongnae Eupseong is a hillside district of restored walls, the North Gate and history sites, not a single entrance. A practical first visit pairs the indoor Bokcheon Museum with the outdoor ancient tombs and then the North Gate and fortress history museum, allowing for uphill steps and changes in elevation. Bokcheon Museum opens Tuesday–Sunday 09:00–18:00 (last admission 17:00); outdoor heritage routes have different access conditions. Myeongnyun and Oncheonjang require further travel.
