Beomeosa Temple
A working Buddhist temple on Geumjeongsan’s eastern slope at 250 Beomeosa-ro, Busan. Its historic gates, main hall and wooded paths are a different destination from the Geumjeongsanseong Festival plaza. Beomeosa Station is not a short level walk from the temple; transfer to bus 90.

Recheck individual session times, registration and venue. The separate Geumjeongsanseong Fortress Festival on October 16–18 is up at the fortress village, not at this temple. Some temple meditation activities allow on-site registration, but SUP meditation is advance-booking only.
Why go
From Line 1 Beomeosa Station, walk about five minutes from the lane between exits 5 and 7 to the Beomeosa entrance bus stop by BI Mart, then take bus 90 to the temple ticket-office stop. Bus 90 also runs from near Nopo Station exit 2. The temple is about 3.5 km from Beomeosa Station. Explore Jogyemun, Cheonwangmun, Burimun and the main hall as a temple visit; plan mountain hiking separately. Respect services and restricted religious areas.
