Song Sang-hyeon Square

A free civic square beside Bujeon Station, with metasequoia-lined paths, lawns, water features and an outdoor performance space. It is a useful downtown break between Bujeon Market, Seomyeon and Busan Citizens Park, not a separate large nature park. The square borders busy roads.

Why it matters now

Adds a practical, free rest point missing from the existing central Busan itinerary. The official listing confirms normal access, not a verified October 2026 performance or active fountain schedule.

Why go

From Bujeon Station on Metro Line 1, take Exit 8 and walk roughly two minutes. Allow 20–45 minutes to rest or walk before continuing to Bujeon Market (working food market) or Busan Citizens Park (larger green space). The plaza, market and park are separate places. Fountain and event operation are seasonal and should not be assumed.
