Bujeon Market
A large working market district just north of Seomyeon, known for produce, seafood, meat, grains, dried goods, ginseng and everyday household shopping. It is less a single tourist hall than a connected local market zone used by residents and restaurant buyers.
Visit Busan currently lists Bujeon Market as a central traditional-market stop, while recent 2026 community and local-guide reports still describe it as an active produce-and-food market rather than a staged tourist attraction. This makes it a useful counterpoint to the cafe-focused Jeonpo side of the same central district.
Why go
Use it for a more everyday side of central Busan before moving into Seomyeon or Jeonpo. Morning to early afternoon is the most useful window if you want the market at full working rhythm; choose a lane or purpose rather than expecting to see the whole district in one quick loop.
