National Maritime Museum of Korea
Yeongdo’s Dong-sam-dong maritime museum is a separate eastern waterfront stop, not an easy walk from Huinnyeoul or Taejongdae. Free permanent galleries include the 3F Sea Hall, aquarium and media rooms and the 4F Navigation Hall; the children’s museum uses a separate reservation system. Plan around 1–2 hours for the core galleries, longer for family activities and the waterfront.

'Objects in Motion' in Hall 2 continues to 7 November and connects industrial ceramics with Yeongdo’s manufacturing and port circulation history. These are two separate exhibitions, not one permanent gallery.
Why go
From Nampo Station Line 1 Exit 6, transfer to bus 17 or 186 and alight at National Maritime Museum. The Busan City Tour green route also calls here. Visitors with children or during rain can visit the indoor galleries, but reserve the children’s museum separately; the library, 4D theatre and special exhibitions do not all share the general gallery rules. Museum maps and loan wheelchairs/strollers are available on site.
