KANGKANGEE Arts Village
A working repair-shipyard neighborhood in Daepyeong-dong, Yeongdo, where Busan's modern shipbuilding history is interpreted through murals, small cultural spaces, guided programs and the still-active industrial waterfront. It is better understood as living industrial heritage than as a polished mural theme park.
Recent 2026 travel coverage still treats Kangkangee as an active industrial neighborhood rather than a static attraction. A proposed pedestrian connection toward Jagalchi is still only a future project, so current visitors should continue to use the existing Yeongdo Bridge, bus or taxi.
Why go
Visit for the repair yards, the story of local ship-repair workers, small exhibitions and the contrast between working shipyards and cultural regeneration. It pairs naturally with Yeongdo Bridge and Nampo.
