Gamdong Narutgil Riverwalk (Gupo Station–Hwamyeong Ecological Park)
A 320 m pedestrian bridge opened in December 2024 between Busan Metro Line 3 Gupo Station and the southern end of Hwamyeong Ecological Park. It makes the Gupo rail hub and riverside park directly walkable; it is distinct from the Geumbit Noeul Bridge serving Gupo Market.

The 2026 Nakdonggang Gupo Naru Festival runs October 16-18 at the park's lotus-field area, while the autumn night market also runs through October 18. Existing Gupo-area descriptions should not imply that all journeys between the station/market and park require a metro or taxi: the two completed pedestrian crossings make on-foot itineraries practical for suitable weather and mobility, although park grounds are extensive.
Why go
Use Gupo Station as the entry point, cross the dedicated riverwalk to look over the Nakdong riverside, then continue into Hwamyeong Ecological Park. Alternatively, visit Gupo Manse Street and Gupo Market before taking the separate Geumbit Noeul Bridge toward the park. An independent April 2025 walking video reports roughly 20-30 minutes between the two riverwalk bridges (under 2 km), but that is a personal route estimate, not a guaranteed accessible time or the full distance to the festival's lotus-field area.
