Busan Nakdong River Belt: Gupo–Hwamyeong
Gupo Station, its historic market and Hwamyeong Ecological Park are separate stops that can be linked on foot. The 320 m Gamdong Narutgil Riverwalk connects Metro Line 3 Gupo Station with the park's southern edge; the Geumbit Noeul Bridge is a different crossing nearer Gupo Market. The park's lotus-field festival area requires more walking.

Busan Nakdong River Belt: Gupo–Hwamyeong
Use Gupo Station, Manse Street and the market as one walking cluster, then choose your riverside crossing. The newer riverwalk starts by Metro Line 3 Gupo Station; the market-side bridge is separate. A 2025 personal walking video estimated 20–30 minutes between the two bridges, not to the festival grounds. Check steps and temporary weather controls before relying on a route.
New & interesting
The October 16–18, 2026 Gupo Naru Festival takes place in Hwamyeong Ecological Park's lotus-field area, not inside Gupo Market; the autumn night market continues through October 18. The tourism description names the lotus fields but its map marker says 'Hwamyeong Ecological Park Baseball Field B', so check the actual entrance. Festival hours of 10:00–21:00 do not establish nighttime access to either bridge. Gupo Station, the market, the park's southern edge and the venue are different arrival points. Park cycle-bike rental remains listed as suspended since May 1.
