Why it matters now

October 2026 ecology programs open for booking at 10:00, 14 days before each session; visiting the free exhibition does not require reserving a field program. The special exhibition 'Flowing Things' is scheduled through January 31, 2027. An October electric-cart timetable was posted September 29: check the dated notice rather than assuming daily cart service. Weather or avian influenza measures may alter programs.

Why go

Start with the indoor estuary and bird exhibits before choosing a short wetland walk or longer park trip. Lockers and wheelchairs are free to use, and binocular rentals may cost extra.
