Busan Nakdong Estuary: Eulsukdo, Dadaepo & Amisan
A west-Busan nature-and-geology route, deliberately distinct from the broader Eco-Art-and-Harbour neighborhood: Eulsukdo for wetland ecology and the art museum, Dadaepo for beach-level dunes, mudflat edges and sunset, and Amisan Observatory for an elevated reading of river-mouth sandbars and channels. These are separate transit blocks, not one waterside walk.

Dadaepo Beach photographed in May 2017. Used as a representative landscape image, not as evidence of current 2026 facilities or operating conditions.

Busan Nakdong Estuary: Eulsukdo, Dadaepo & Amisan
For a short visit choose either Eulsukdo's museum/eco center (bus from Hadan Station) or Dadaepo Beach plus the hilltop Amisan Observatory (Line 1 to Dadaepo Beach for the shore; Line 1 to Dadaepo Port then Saha-gu village bus 15 via Morundae Cathedral for Amisan). The hilltop is not a level extension of the beach. At Amisan, the free indoor exhibit runs 09:00–18:00 with last entry 17:00; the outdoor view, sunset and car park have separate access considerations. For a full day, use transit to connect the two sides and check the last return bus.
New & interesting
October 2026 editorial clarification: the broad 'West Busan Eco-Art and Harbour' page covers contemporary art, Jangnim's working-fishing-port photo stop and Dadaepo; this page covers estuary ecology, geology and the choice between Eulsukdo wetlands and Amisan's elevated sandbar view. The Dadaepo Sunset Fountain season ended September 30. The Eulsukdo free special exhibition 'Flowing Things' continues through January 31, 2027 according to its previously recorded event listing; check the latest exhibition notice before travel.
