Dongbaekseom & Nurimaru APEC House
A compact forest-and-coast walking block at the western end of Haeundae Beach, combining sea-level boardwalks and rocky shoreline views with the free Nurimaru APEC House exhibition. It is best understood as a 1–1.5 hour walking stop between Haeundae Beach and The Bay 101/Marine City rather than as a separate half-day district.

Brit in Seoul / Wikimedia CommonsSources & further readingNurimaru is currently open 09:00–18:00 with last admission at 17:00, closes on the first Monday of each month and is free. In autumn the island works especially well as a non-swimming extension of Haeundae Beach; it is also one of the related viewing areas for the November 7, 2026 Busan Fireworks Festival, so crowd conditions will be very different on festival day.
Why go
Walk the coast for views of Gwangandaegyo Bridge, Oryukdo and the Haeundae/Marine City skyline, then step inside the preserved 2005 APEC summit venue. The route gives visitors nature, modern Busan history and skyline photography in one short block without another long transit leg.
