Choryang 168 Stairs & Sky Road
A specific steep hillside stair-and-lift landmark within Choryang Ibagu-gil, not a separate walking district. The 168 steps rise from the residential lanes to a series of viewpoints and upper hillside facilities. The former monorail is obsolete: the inclined Sky Road elevator now serves stops near the lower stair exhibits, Kim Min-bu viewpoint and upper Myeongnan Brand Lab.

Busan Dong-gu now describes the replacement inclined elevator and the five-floor Myeongnan Brand Lab, but exact elevator operating times and maintenance closures are not established by this review. Do not confuse a lift's availability with a completely accessible route.
Why go
Start at Busan Station and walk uphill via Choryang Ibagu-gil to the foot of the 168 Stairs. Choose to climb the steps or use the inclined elevator if operating. Stop at the mid-slope Kim Min-bu viewpoint and continue to the upper Myeongnan Brand Lab for food products and harbor panoramas. These are separate landmarks along a lived-in hill: the steep approach and connecting alleys are not universally step-free, and residents' entries are private.
