Molundae Coastal Heritage Trail
Molundae is a wooded coastal headland west of Dadaepo Beach, distinct from the sandy beach and the event lawns of Dadaepo Beach Park. Visitors find pine-lined slopes, rocky views over the Nakdong estuary, and layers of local maritime history. Saha-gu notes that its heritage designation category changed to Busan-designated natural heritage in September 2024.

문화재청(국가유산청 자료) / Wikimedia CommonsSources & further readingThe Saha-gu official page, updated July 2026, states seasonal access hours: 05:00–20:00 April–September and 06:00–18:00 October–March, with military control outside permitted hours. In October 2026, finish the Molundae walk before 6 p.m. The nearby Dadaepo Beach Park's October 10–11 outdoor reading festival may run until 9 p.m., but those hours do not extend Molundae's access. Verify weather and individual trail closures on the day.
Why go
Walk west from Dadaepo Beach Station toward the Molundae trail entrance, then choose a route through the woodland to historic sites including Dadaejin Dongheon, the memorial to naval commander Jeong Un and coastal viewpoints. This is a sloping, sometimes stepped or unpaved headland—not a continuous flat beachfront. Plan the return before dark and respect any signed military or safety restrictions.
