Sungnyemun Guard Ceremony — Seoul (2026)

Seoul’s recurring historical guard ceremony is listed at Sungnyemun Gate Square every day except Monday, 10:00–15:40. Opening ceremony 10:00–10:10 and closing ceremony 15:30–15:40; patrols pass Namdaemun Market 11:20–11:40 and Seoul Station 14:45–15:00. The operator lists a 12:00–13:00 break but some detailed shift tables differ; recheck the official schedule. The optional ‘One-day Patrol Guard’ is a separate advance-booked activity each Saturday/Sunday at 11:30 for just two participants per session, minimum height 120 cm, with arrival 40 minutes early for training.
