6th Chuncheon Pet Festival 2026

Checked October 8, 2026 (KST). Chuncheon City says this edition expands from two days last year to three. It lists 300 dog-sport teams across the October 10 Skyhounds international qualifier and October 11 agility national-team promotion event, plus athlete practice on opening day, a flyball demonstration, an industry expo, Petlympics, dog yoga, and activities for children and beginners. The pet-themed AI short-film contest received 79 entries. The city reported about 10,000 visitors in 2025; this is last year's attendance, not a 2026 forecast. Three independent Naver posts about the 2025 festival describe pet-product booths, activities and visiting with dogs, while impressions varied with the weather and arrival time. Two posts mentioned limited parking/roadside overflow during the 2025 event. These are dated personal observations, not confirmation of 2026 parking conditions. The official 2026 information reviewed did not state admission or parking arrangements. The dog walk is scheduled for the morning of October 11; some programs require advance registration and some allow on-site participation. Check the official schedule and registration before leaving.
