Chuncheon Animation Museum

A lakeside museum complex in Seo-myeon, Chuncheon that presents the history and making of animation alongside character and hands-on exhibits. The same site also includes the Toy Robot Museum and sits within a broader content-industry campus.

Why it matters now

The October 3–5, 2026 AniToy Festival is using the museum grounds as a combined animation, character, toy and family-program venue. A separate Kids Leisure Challenge is also scheduled here on October 4–5, making the campus unusually active this weekend.

Why go

It is one of the clearest places in Korea to encounter animation as both cultural history and an interactive visitor experience. The adjacent Toy Robot Museum and creative-industry facilities make the site more useful than a single-gallery stop.
