When planning Wonju by rail, check the station name on your ticket before planning the final transfer. Wonju Station, Manjong Station and Seowonju Station are separate stops, and they do not put you in the same part of the city.

Wonju City’s current English city-tour page, updated for 2026, shows a loop that connects Wonju Station, Wonju Bus Terminal, Manjong Station and Seowonju Station with attractions including Museum SAN and Sogeumsan Mountain Grand Valley. That makes the timetable useful as an orientation tool even if you do not use the tour bus: it shows how spread out the rail gateways and visitor sites are.

If you plan to use the city tour itself, check the operating day, seat/reservation rules and current timetable before relying on it; the city page gives a detailed schedule but services can be revised. For an ordinary rail arrival, map the last leg from the exact station on your ticket and keep a taxi or local bus option for times when the tour bus does not fit.
