Who this is for

Use this guide if you arrive at Taehwagang Station and want a sightseeing bus to connect several Ulsan attractions without building every local-bus transfer yourself.

Two useful loop directions

Government city-tour standard data lists a Taehwagang National Garden loop through central Ulsan and a Jangsaengpo–Daewangam loop toward major coastal attractions, both starting from Taehwagang Station. A current 2026 service summary still points travelers to these Ulsan City Tour loops and the official live service page.

Check the day before you rely on it

The government dataset lists the loops as operating Wednesday through Sunday, with Monday, Tuesday, Seollal and Chuseok holiday closures. Because that dataset's Ulsan row is older than the live operator service, treat the official Ulsan City Tour page as the final authority for your actual date.

Fare and boarding

The government standard data lists the regular adult loop fare at KRW 6,000 and regular child fare at KRW 4,000, with Taehwagang Station as the starting point. A current 2026 route summary reports the city-tour boarding point at Taehwagang Station bus platform 3 and says the circular route is first-come, first-served.

The same current summary reports card-only payment for the circular route. Because payment acceptance can change faster than the government dataset, recheck the live operator page or call the service before arriving if you are relying on a specific card or cash.

Do not treat it like an ordinary city bus

This is a sightseeing service with its own timetable and capacity. If a departure is full or delayed, you may need to wait for another run. Leave buffer time before a train connection at Taehwagang Station.

Practical routine

  1. Open the official Ulsan City Tour service page for the travel date.
  2. Confirm which loop is operating and the latest departure times.
  3. Confirm the current fare and accepted payment method.
  4. If you want several stops, check whether your chosen ticket allows same-day reboarding on that route.
  5. For a tight rail connection, switch to ordinary local transit or taxi rather than depending on the final sightseeing-bus departure.
