Pohang Gyeongju Airport is physically in Pohang. Do not treat the combined airport name as proof that Gyeongju is a short city-center transfer.

Korea Airports Corporation currently lists two especially useful bus corridors. Express bus 9000 runs Yangdeok–Pohang KTX Station–Jukdo Market–POSCO–Pohang Gyeongju Airport–Homigot. City express bus 900 runs Yangdeok–Hwanho Sunrise Park–Yeongildae Beach–Jukdo Market–Intercity Bus Terminal–POSCO–the airport–Guryongpo. At the terminal, KAC says the city-bound bus stop is to the right outside the exit and the Guryongpo-bound stop is to the left.

Those two routes make the airport practical for Pohang itineraries: rail connections, Jukdo Market, the intercity bus terminal, the coast, Guryongpo and Homigot can be planned along a named corridor. Check the current timetable before relying on a tight connection.

For Gyeongju, treat the onward leg separately. The airport's current taxi estimate to Gyeongju is KRW 30,000–35,000, while Pohang destinations such as the intercity bus terminal or city hall are listed around KRW 10,000–11,000. Traffic can change actual fares. If you are going to Gyeongju, compare the real-time bus/rail alternatives and your final destination before assuming the airport name gives you a direct city transfer.
