Pohang is spread out enough that Homigot, Guryongpo, Yeongildae and inland sites can require a lot of separate local transport. The official city tour can simplify that, but you need to choose the course by day and departure time.

Pohang City currently lists full-day courses on Saturdays and Sundays. One full-day pattern departs Pohang Station at 09:30, stops at the intercity bus terminal at 10:00, then continues through Guryongpo, Homigot, the coast and Jukdo Market before returning to Pohang Station in the evening. Another weekend full-day course uses the north/coast corridor including the arboretum, Bogyeongsa and Yeongildae.

Half-day weekend courses are also listed, with Pohang Station departures at 12:30. The official night course is listed for Fridays and Saturdays, reaching Pohang Station at 18:00 before Hwanho Park, Yeongildae, Songrim and Pohang Canal and returning to the station around 21:00.

Do not assume every attraction or stop is available every day. The city's page flags closure days for several facilities inside theme courses, and times can be affected by operations and local conditions. Confirm the specific course on the official page before planning a rail arrival around it.

The current English city page clearly shows course timing, but this review did not independently verify current fare, reservation method or foreign-card payment. Treat those as check-before-you-go items rather than guessing.
