First check the operating season

Paju City’s official 2026 page lists the city-tour season from March 24 through November 29, with a summer suspension in July and August. Do not plan a midsummer tour from an old itinerary screenshot.

Know where you are boarding

The official page lists departure/pickup points at Hongik University Station around 09:00, Unjeong Station around 09:40, and GTX Unjeong Jungang Station around 10:00. The exact course matters, so confirm which boarding point applies to the tour you actually booked.

The tour may not run if too few people reserve

Paju states that regular day tours operate when at least 10 people are booked in advance, while the 1-night/2-day course requires at least 8. A reservation request is therefore not the same thing as a guaranteed departure. Check the operator’s confirmation before building the rest of your day around the tour.

Fares depend on the course

The city lists day-tour boarding fares from KRW 7,000 to KRW 21,000 and the 1-night/2-day tour at KRW 80,000. Different weekday courses cover different parts of Paju, so the cheapest tour is not necessarily the one that goes to the place you want.

Practical planning

Use the official Paju page to choose a course by day and theme, reserve before travel, and keep the pickup time in your calendar. Recheck the course, operating decision and any seasonal notice shortly before departure because minimum-group rules and route changes can affect whether the bus runs.
