Use 1345 when the question is about immigration status, visas, stay permissions, the responsible immigration office or other immigration-administration matters. Do not rely on a hotel, airline or general tourist hotline for a definitive answer on immigration status.

The Ministry of Justice says you can dial 1345 anywhere in Korea from a landline or mobile phone. The current English page lists counseling on weekdays from 09:00 to 22:00. After 18:00, service is available in Korean, English and Chinese; broader multilingual counseling is available earlier in the day.

From abroad, the official immigration site lists international contact options including +82-2-1345 and +82-2-6908-1345~6. Because international dialing formats can vary by carrier, check the current contact page before calling from outside Korea.

1345 can also help identify which immigration office has jurisdiction and can provide guidance on immigration procedures. If you need an in-person service, confirm whether a HiKorea reservation is required before traveling to an office.

Use 1330 for general tourism help and 112/119 for emergencies. For immigration eligibility or stay rules, use 1345 or the relevant official immigration service.
