Easy Drop is an off-airport baggage service for eligible passengers departing Incheon International Airport. Instead of carrying checked baggage all the way to the terminal, you complete the supported check-in and bag-drop steps at a designated location, then travel to the airport without that checked bag.

Where it is offered

Incheon Airport's current official page lists locations including Myeongdong, the lobby of Holiday Inn Express Seoul Hongdae, the Samseong Station City Airport Terminal, and selected airport-area resorts including Inspire and Paradise City. Do not assume every location has the same opening hours or baggage cutoff; the official table gives location-specific rules.

Who can use it

Only participating airlines and eligible routes can use Easy Drop. The official page says the airline list can expand and that some carriers have extra requirements. Korean Air and Asiana passengers, for example, are instructed to complete self check-in before using the service.

The airport also states that some routes are excluded, including flights to the Americas such as Guam and Saipan. Special or oversized baggage can be excluded as well.

The cutoff is not the same everywhere

The official page shows different acceptance cutoffs by location and terminal. Do not copy a single cutoff into your itinerary. First choose your Easy Drop location, then check the exact Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 deadline for that location and your flight.

What to do

  1. Confirm that your airline and route are eligible on the current Incheon Airport Easy Drop page.
  2. Check your chosen location's operating day, hours and terminal-specific cutoff.
  3. Complete any required web/mobile self check-in before arrival.
  4. Bring the required travel document and baggage to the Easy Drop desk early enough for identity, baggage and security checks.
  5. After your bag is accepted, still allow normal time to reach Incheon Airport and clear passenger security and immigration.

Easy Drop is not the same as luggage storage or same-day luggage delivery. It is a checked-baggage process tied to an eligible departing flight.
