Who this is for
Use this guide if you are considering Discover Seoul Pass for several paid attractions, airport transport or a prepaid transit-card/eSIM bundle in Seoul.
Choose the product before you compare the price
The official site currently lists 72-hour and 120-hour timed passes plus Pick 3 Basic and Pick 3 Theme Park products. Timed passes are designed around a continuous validity window; Pick 3 products are built around choosing a limited number of attractions. Do not compare them as if they are the same product with different prices.
As checked on October 5, 2026, the official homepage lists the 72-hour pass at KRW 90,000, the 120-hour pass at KRW 130,000, Pick 3 Basic at KRW 49,000 and Pick 3 Theme Park at KRW 70,000. These prices and included partners can change, so recheck the official site before purchase.
Card pass vs mobile pass
The physical Card Pass can also function as a transit/prepaid card after you add value. The Mobile Pass is used through the app and currently includes a 5-day unlimited-data eSIM. If you want a physical transit card, the Card Pass may be more convenient; if you want to avoid pickup, compare the Mobile Pass.
Do not activate a timed pass too early
The official transportation page warns that when a 13-digit AREX code is issued, Discover Seoul Pass validity starts immediately. Issue the AREX code only when you are ready to use that benefit. For timed products, also check the app's remaining-time display after activation rather than relying on memory.
Refunds and third-party sellers
The official site says unused passes can receive a full refund within 30 days of purchase. Purchases through third-party sellers follow the seller's own refund rules. Once benefits have been used or the pass is activated, do not assume an unused-pass refund still applies.
Practical decision rule
Before buying, list the paid attractions you realistically expect to visit, check that they are still participating, compare their normal admission cost with the pass price, then decide whether a timed pass or Pick 3 fits your itinerary. Check closures and reservation requirements for each attraction separately: the pass does not guarantee that every partner is open or has space when you arrive.
