Daegu's official tourism directory gives travelers several places to get local help instead of trying to solve every route, restaurant or accommodation question through a map app.
At Dongdaegu Station, the tourist information center is in the station square at 550 Dongdaegu-ro. The current official directory lists phone 053-939-0080 and says the center provides tourism, transport, food, shopping and accommodation information as well as interpretation service. It is a useful first stop for KTX arrivals who need to choose between the metro, bus, taxi or a regional onward trip.
Daegu Airport also has an official tourist information center on the first floor between the international and domestic exits. The directory lists phone 053-984-1994 and says it provides Daegu and Gyeongbuk tourism information in English, Japanese and Chinese. This is particularly useful when a visitor arrives without mobile data or needs a Korean destination name written down.
The same official directory currently includes other information points such as EXCO and the Daegu Tourism Information Center. The Tourism Information Center at 46 Gongwonsunhwan-ro is described as open year-round with English, Japanese and Chinese interpretation staff.
Operating hours can differ by center and can change for holidays or facility operations. The official directory is stronger evidence for the current network than old holiday notices, so use the directory and call the specific center before a time-sensitive visit.
