Buyeo is one of the easier heritage destinations to explore without a car when the county city tour is running. The current 2026 official schedule operates on Saturdays and Sundays through October 18, generally from 10:00 to 17:00.
The county requires advance online reservation for the scheduled tour, with the normal booking cutoff at 16:00 on Thursday of the travel week. The tour runs when at least five people are booked, so a reservation is not the same as a guaranteed departure. The official page also says same-day reservations may be possible at the Chungnam Tourist Information Center or Lotte Resort on operating days, but travelers should not depend on walk-up space.
Payment is currently by bank transfer according to the Korean 2026 operating page, which can be inconvenient for international visitors. If you do not have a practical way to make a Korean bank transfer, contact the information center before assuming the online booking can be completed.
For October 3–11, 2026, Buyeo County is also warning that Baekje Cultural Festival road controls make some existing stops unusable and directs travelers to diversion information. Anyone traveling during that period should treat the normal stop list as provisional.
Use the city tour when you want a structured day linking multiple heritage sites. If your priority is just one or two central sites, local bus or taxi may be more flexible. Reconfirm the course, pickup point and payment method before travel because the city-tour season and festival operations are time-sensitive.
