Temi Orae
A preserved former Chungcheongnam-do governor’s residence village in central Daejeon, now used as a modern-history and cultural complex with multiple historic residences, exhibitions and programs.
Residence 1 is hosting the free exhibition 'Repairing Time, Connecting Memory' from October 1 through December 31, 2026, while Temi Orae continues regular public viewing Tuesday through Sunday.
Why go
It combines 1930s–1970s residential architecture with changing exhibitions in a compact walkable complex. For visitors, it is a useful modern-history stop that can be paired on foot with Daejeon Temi Literature Museum and the Bomunsan-side old downtown area.
