Suyeong Paldo Market

An everyday traditional market between Suyeong Station and the Suyeong Historic Park area, descended from the old naval-command market. Its covered lanes hold fresh food, side dishes, clothing, sundries and simple local meals; it is a neighborhood market rather than another beachfront attraction.

Why it matters now

The inland Suyeong–Mangmi route is more useful when it includes an everyday market, not only the historic park and F1963. Market-side directions mention lanes near Suyeong Station Exit 2, but entrance and walking time should be checked on a map. F1963 is a separate Mangmi destination. Parking concessions and cart lending mentioned by the KTO have not been reverified for current operation.

Why go

Browse the covered market lanes, then continue to nearby Suyeong Historic Park for the old fortress setting and shade trees. Budget around 30–60 minutes for browsing as a suggested itinerary, not an official visit time. Each independent shop sets its own hours, holidays and payment methods.
