Sorae Wetland Ecological Park
A restored salt-pan and tidal-wetland park in Incheon with reed fields, old salt-making landscapes, birdwatching areas and a free ecology exhibition hall.
As of October 2026, Incheon’s park guidance says the free seawater footbath operates Tuesday–Sunday, 10:00–17:00, from March to mid-November. It may close in typhoons, strong winds or rain, and is shut for winter from December through late February. It is a timely stop after an autumn reed-bed and tidal-flat walk, but check same-day operation. The outdoor park is listed as 04:00–23:00 and the ecology hall is currently 10:00–18:00 (last entry 17:00). Official city pages disagree on winter hall hours—10:00–17:30 on the park overview versus 10:00–18:00 on the hall page—so check the latest notice before a winter visit.
Why go
Choose it for an easy nature break in the Seoul–Incheon urban region without committing to a mountain hike. The reed landscape, salt-field heritage and wide skies work well for walking, photography, birdwatching and families, especially when combined with nearby Sorae Port.
