Seoul Station
Seoul’s main long-distance rail hub, combining KTX and conventional KORAIL services with Seoul Subway Lines 1 and 4, the Gyeongui-Jungang Line and the Airport Railroad (AREX).
Several Travel Information guides depend on the distinction between Seoul Station, Yongsan and Suseo. Seoul Station is also the city-side anchor for AREX and the renovated 2026 City Airport Terminal.
Why go
Use it as a practical transfer hub between intercity rail, central Seoul and Incheon Airport rather than treating every 'Seoul' rail trip as departing from the same station.
Plan the visit
Use the confirmed place facts below, then continue to the broader travel guides for transport, facilities and eating practicalities.
A smooth first day is less about seeing one more attraction and more about getting four systems right: airport transfer, bags, mobile data/payment, and the route between your hotel and the first neighborhood.
