Seoul Science Center
A hands-on municipal science museum in Nowon-gu, Seoul, with interactive permanent exhibition halls. Current operator guidance lists 09:30–17:30 and free general admission; exhibitions, labs and courses may charge separately. Closed Mondays (Tuesday instead if Monday is a public holiday), January 1, Lunar New Year's Day and Chuseok Day. Address: 160 Hangeulbiseok-ro, Nowon-gu. This is distinct from other science museums in Korea.
Family science laboratory classes begin on selected Sundays from October 18, 2026. On Oct 18, sessions are listed for 10:00–11:40 (cells) and 14:00–15:40 (making aspirin), each KRW 10,000 per person, for adult guardians and children at least in grade 4, with a minimum two-person application. This does not mean seats are currently available; check the official booking page, language and access needs.
Why go
A family-friendly indoor science outing or rainy-day option. From Hagye Station (Line 7) Exit 3, the official directions give a roughly 1.2 km walk. Alternatively take local bus 1141 at Hagye Miseong Apartment stop to Samik Seonggyeong Apartment Rear Gate. Parking is limited. Reserve paid teaching sessions separately and check age requirements.
