Seoul Museum of Craft Art (SeMoCA)
Free city-run craft museum beside Anguk Station on the historic Andong Byeolgung site, exploring Korean and contemporary crafts, embroidery, lacquer and design. General exhibitions are free, but the Children's Museum requires advance online booking. 'The Path that Remains' and the Second Seoul Yoolizzy Craft Award lobby display are scheduled to end on October 11, 2026; 'Equinox' runs to March 7, 2027. Exhibition Building 1's first-floor lobby is scheduled to close October 13–25, reopening October 27.
Two exhibitions reach their scheduled last day this Sunday, October 11. From October 13–25, one lobby gallery will be closed, not the whole museum. Some rooms have extended hours during September 15–November 30, 2026; check the official room-by-day table before an evening visit.
Why go
Just outside Anguk Station Exit 1 (Line 3), suitable for a rainy-day route through Anguk, Bukchon or Insa-dong. General galleries allow self-guided visits, but do not assume the Children's Museum has walk-in access. There is no general visitor car park.
