Seoul Metropolitan Library

The public library in Seoul's former City Hall building, near City Hall Station (Lines 1 and 2, Exit 5). Visitors may read materials on site, but borrowing, reservations and closed-stack access require membership. General reading rooms open Tuesday–Friday 09:00–21:00 and Saturday–Sunday 09:00–18:00; some specialized rooms differ. Closed Mondays and specified public holidays. Seoul Plaza, Deoksugung Palace and Seoul Museum of Art are nearby.

An indoor reading stop on a City Hall–Deoksugung walking route. Reading in the library and membership-dependent borrowing are different services.
