Seodaejeon Station

Daejeon’s separate Honam-line rail gateway in Jung-gu. It is not Daejeon Station and is not a direct Subway Line 1 interchange, so visitors should check the exact station printed on the rail ticket and plan the final city connection.

Why it matters now

Daejeon’s current official directions continue to distinguish Seodaejeon Station on the Honam Line from Daejeon Station and list bus 618 between Seodaejeon Station and City Hall. Daejeon Tourism currently operates a tourist information center on the station’s third floor.

Why go

Use it when your intercity rail ticket actually arrives at or departs from Seodaejeon Station, especially on Honam-line travel. Treat it as a separate arrival point from Daejeon Station before arranging hotel pickup, subway, bus or taxi.
