Sasang Lifestyle History Museum
A free local-history museum by Samnakcheon stream in Sasang-gu, telling the story of a Nakdong River farming-and-fishing community, its industrialization into a factory district and today's urban regeneration. The museum occupies a different visitor block from Sasang Station and the vast Samnak Ecological Park.
The museum's official 2026 site lists Saturday family hanji-mask workshops during October–November, including October 10 and 17, normally 14:00–15:00 by separate session registration. A specific October 17 booking window runs through October 16 at 16:00; individual class capacity is only five families. Museum admission itself remains free without that workshop reservation.
Why go
Begin on the third floor with three permanent galleries: the river as a source of life (reeds, shellfish, farming and schooling), industrial-era Sasang (manufacturing, employment and environmental costs), and community recovery. The second floor has family activity and rest space, and the rooftop has a small neighborhood viewpoint. This is a useful indoor stop before a separate riverside park visit.
