N Seoul Tower (Namsan Seoul Tower)
Namsan's iconic city-view tower offers an outdoor summit plaza and a separate paid indoor observatory. The official operator lists observatory hours of 10:00–22:30 on weekdays and 10:00–23:00 on weekends and holidays, with last admission 30 minutes before closing; times can change with weather or operations. The cable car, bus, walk and observatory are different access/paid choices: do not assume an observatory ticket includes transportation.
For the October 9–11 holiday weekend, the operator's holiday schedule is 10:00–23:00 for the observatory, subject to weather and special notices. Cable-car queues, observatory ticket availability and real-time transit must be checked separately.
Why go
Choose either the Namsan summit plaza for a city panorama or the separately ticketed observatory, and pair the hilltop with Myeongdong or a Namsan walking route. Arrive before sunset only if crowding and weather permit; a clear view is never guaranteed.
