Jinju National Museum
A national museum inside Jinjuseong Fortress focused on the Imjin War, the wider East Asian context of that conflict, and the history and culture of Gyeongsangnam-do. It works especially well as the interpretive half of a fortress visit.
Checked Jinju National Museum’s visitor guide on 7 October 2026. The museum is inside Jinjuseong Fortress, so visitors who are not Jinju residents must pay the fortress admission fee. The museum has no separate parking lot; use the fortress parking areas.
Why go
Visit if Jinjuseong’s walls and battle history leave you wanting the objects, maps and historical explanation behind the site. The museum is particularly suited to history-focused travelers and families who want a structured indoor stop alongside the outdoor fortress.
