Why it matters now

Cross-checked Jeju Stone Park’s official visitor guide and Visit Jeju on 7 October 2026. The park is open Tuesday–Sunday, 09:00–18:00, with ticket sales until 17:00. If Monday is a public/substitute holiday, it closes on the first non-holiday afterward. The Children’s Zone is for ages 13 months through elementary grade 2, open 09:30–17:10; advance booking is required on weekends and public holidays. The 6 October one-off closure notice is now past. I could not verify a separate Hangul Day (9 October) notice, so check the official notices before travelling.

Why go

Choose it if you want to understand Jeju beyond beaches and cafés. Basalt landscapes, stone objects, reconstructed traditional spaces and mythology make the park especially rewarding for culture, photography and slow walking, but the scale means you should allow more time than for a conventional museum.
