Jangansa Temple & Valley, Gijang
A mountain temple and wooded valley in Jangan-eup, northeastern Gijang. Jangansa's Joseon-era Daeungjeon Hall is a nationally designated Treasure; nearby Jangansa Valley is listed by Gijang County among its eight scenic sights. These are distinct stops, not part of the beachfront walk at Imrang or Osiria.

The heritage service confirms Daeungjeon Hall's protected status; Gijang County promotes the valley. Current opening hours, parking availability, 2026 bus schedules and trail closures are unverified. Do not confuse this Busan site with the similarly named Jangansa in North Korea.
Why go
Visit the temple grounds respectfully for Daeungjeon and other halls, then consider a separate forest-and-stream walk at Jangansa Valley. The short temple visit and a longer mountain walk require different amounts of time and footwear. Respect worshippers and any restrictions on entering or photographing temple buildings. Stream rocks can be slippery after rain.
