Jaein Falls
Jaein Falls, in Bugok-ri, Yeoncheon-eup, is a natural landmark where water from Jijangbong flows into a basalt columnar-joint gorge. Yeoncheon County describes the falls as about 18 m high and the plunge pool as roughly 30 m wide and 100 m long.
Why go
View the waterfall, emerald-toned plunge pool and dark basalt cliffs together from the observatory. A local legend about a tightrope-walking performer is also associated with the falls.
