Imrang Beach
A beach in Jangan-eup on Busan's northeastern edge, with more than 1 km of sand, pine trees and Imrang Haemaji Village. It is separate from Osiria, Ilgwang and Songjeong; the Haeundae Beach Train does not reach Imrang.
The inaugural Imrang Wellness Tourism Festival runs October 9–11, 2026, with a general 10:00–17:00 guide and free admission. October 10 features Imrang Rave, a wellness talk by Professor Kim Kyung-il, beach bodywork and Imrang Play; October 11 lists art meditation, sound bath, sauna rituals and sleep therapy. Check individual booking requirements, and do not promote sessions as permanent after the event. Gijang Fortress is another venue.
Why go
Enjoy the sands, pines and village murals. From Jwacheon Station on the Donghae Line, transfer to bus 37 or 180 for Imrang Samgeori, or bus 188 for the Imrang Beach stop (according to Busan City). Restrooms and summer beach facilities are listed, but October shower or changing-room operation is unverified. Check the return service and separate hours for Park Tae-joon Memorial Hall.
