Imjingak Resort & Pyeonghwa Nuri Park
A Paju peace-history destination bringing together Korean War and division memorials, a broad lawn park and public art. Pyeonghwa Nuri Park can be visited without joining a controlled-area DMZ tour.
The 2026 GHOST (Gyeonggi Hallyu OST) Festival runs at Imjingak Pyeonghwa Nuri on October 9–11. The official site lists festival-ground hours of 11:00–22:30 daily, performances from 13:00–22:00, and gates opening at 11:30. Regular tickets are KRW 120,000 for one day, KRW 180,000 for two days, and KRW 240,000 for three days. Free shuttles run October 9–11 from 10:00–22:30: every 30 minutes from Exit 1 at Munsan Station, and every 20 minutes from a stop about 80 m from Exit 1 at Unjeong Jungang Station (GTX-A). The organizer expects traffic congestion and limited parking and recommends public transit; check the latest shuttle notice and allow extra travel time.
Why go
Walk the lawns and Pinwheel Hill at Pyeonghwa Nuri Park, then use the nearby memorials and Freedom Bridge to understand the area’s division-era history. The outdoor park, exhibition venues, gondola and DMZ tours each operate under different conditions.
