Why it matters now

The museum’s official visitor pages were rechecked on October 4, 2026. General admission is free, individual visitors do not need reservations, and English, Japanese and Chinese guide leaflets are available. The Iksan Tourist Information Center can arrange English, Chinese or Japanese interpretation when contacted in advance.

Why go

Visit before or after walking Mireuksa if you want the archaeology and religious history behind the ruins rather than just a view of the stone pagoda. Free admission, lockers, Wi-Fi, wheelchair and stroller loans, a nursery room and multilingual leaflets make it an easy regional culture stop.
