Haeundae Beach
One of Busan's best-known urban beaches and a year-round base for exploring the eastern part of the city. Even after the official swimming season, it works well for walks, Dongbaekseom Island, Gunam-ro and nearby dining.

Hankook12 / Wikimedia CommonsSources & further readingThe official 2026 beach swimming season ended September 15. In October, plan for a seaside walk, coastal views, nearby culture and food rather than assuming summer lifeguards and designated swimming services are still available.
Why go
Haeundae Station Exit 5 leads toward the beach (about a 15-minute walk in tourist guidance). For food, take Exit 3 toward Gunam-ro and Haeundae Traditional Market; for cafés and small shops, use Exit 4 for Haeridan-gil behind the former station. They are separate areas.
