Haeridan-gil (Haeundae Backstreets)
A low-rise café, restaurant and small-shop district behind the former Haeundae railway station, north of Haeundae Metro Station. It feels different from the beach and its large tourist promenade.

Visitor discussions favor the small cafés and eateries, but do not verify current business hours.
Why go
Leave Haeundae Station on Metro Line 2 via Exit 4 and walk past the former railway station to the lanes around Udong 1-ro. Explore independent cafés, small shops and painted alley walls; check each venue’s opening times. The beach lies on the opposite side of the Metro station.
