Gimhae National Museum

A national museum devoted to Gaya and the archaeology of the Nakdong River region, making it the clearest indoor starting point for understanding Gimhae’s royal tombs and wider Gaya heritage.

Why it matters now

Checked Gimhae National Museum’s official visitor pages on 7 October 2026. The permanent galleries are free; the Children’s Museum requires advance booking, with same-day entry only for remaining places. The current special exhibition “Between Gaya, the Sea, and Tombs” runs through 14 February 2027.

Nearby facilities & servicesOpen guide →화~일요일 및 공휴일 09:00–18:00, 상설전시 입장 마감 17:30. 매주 월요일, 1월 1일, 설날·추석 당일 휴관(월요일이 공휴일이면 개관하고 다음 비공휴일에 휴관). 상설전시 무료이며 특별전은 유료일 수 있다. 어린이박물관은 10:00–17:50, 회당 50분·1일 7회·회당 60명이며 관람 전날까지 온라인 예약해야 한다. 잔여석만 당일 현장 접수 가능. 부산김해경전철 박물관역에서 내리면 된다.
