Dalmaji-gil & Moontan Road

A wooded hillside walking and culture zone above eastern Haeundae, distinct from the flat beach promenade and the Blueline Park railway corridor. Visitors come for pine-shaded paths, sea views, Haewoljeong, galleries and small cultural stops.

Why it matters now

The 2026 Dalmaji Culture Festa is using this area on selected Saturdays through November 21, combining Moontan Road trekking with craft, tea and gallery programs. This makes the hill more than a scenic drive during the autumn event period, but course participation requires advance booking and many October sessions are already full or waitlisted.

Why go

Choose it when you want a walk rather than another ride. The Moontan Road loop can be approached from the Haeundae/Mipo side, while Dalmaji-gil adds hilltop viewpoints and cultural venues. It is useful to treat this as its own 1–2 hour block because the uphill terrain changes the pace compared with Haeundae Beach.
