Daewangam Park
A coastal park in Ilsan-dong, Dong-gu, Ulsan, with pine groves, rugged shore formations and views around Ulgi Lighthouse. Walking routes link the forest and coast; the official seaside trail continues toward Seuldo and takes about 40 minutes. A 303-metre suspension bridge spans the northern shoreline.
Checked against official information on 8 October 2026. The free suspension bridge operates 09:00–18:00 (last entry 17:40), closes on the second Tuesday of each month, and may be restricted for rain, strong winds, heavy rain, typhoon alerts, sea fog or maintenance. Children under 13 need a guardian. Recent reviews repeatedly mention the pine path, sea and rock scenery, but flower observations dated 21 September are historical and do not establish current bloom conditions. One Sunday-afternoon family review reports crowds and a full car park; a separate visitor suggests a half-day route. Treat these as personal experiences. Parking is paid 10:00–19:00; confirm the weekday/weekend free periods and incremental charges on the official FAQ and onsite payment display.
Why go
Combine a pine-forest walk, rocky coastline and East Sea views, with the option of crossing the suspension bridge. General park access is free and the wider grounds are open around the clock, subject to weather and safety controls; the bridge has separate hours. Families can add the children’s forest playground. Wheelchairs and strollers cannot enter the bridge, so plan a separate route through the rest of the park.
