Daegu National Museum
A national museum exploring the archaeology, history and clothing culture of Daegu and North Gyeongsang. Its permanent galleries are free, and city buses connect it with Manchon Station on Metro Line 2.
Checked October 9, 2026. From October 2, 2026 through March 7, 2027, Haesol Hall is showing 80 award-winning four-panel drawings inspired by clothing, shoes and accessories in the museum’s clothing-culture gallery. The museum reports 150 elementary-school participants from Daegu and North Gyeongsang; this is a contest-participant count, not visitor attendance. General hours are 09:00–18:00, with entry until 17:30. The museum closes Mondays (or the first following weekday when Monday is a public holiday), January 1, Seollal day and Chuseok day. Its visitor guide says permanent and planned exhibitions are free, except paid special/planned exhibitions; the announcement does not state a separate fee for this display, so confirm at +82-53-768-6051 before traveling. Address: 321 Cheongho-ro, Suseong-gu, Daegu. From Exit 3 at Manchon Station on Metro Line 2, transfer to Circular 3/3-1 or buses 234, 349, 449, 524, Suseong 1/1-1/3/3-1. The free museum car park has 184 spaces, but the museum warns capacity may be limited and recommends public transport.

The permanent galleries are free, while the Children’s Museum requires a separate reservation. There is also an outdoor display and a 184-space car park, but the museum warns that spaces can be limited and recommends public transport.
