Choi Jong-tae Exhibition Hall (Daejeon Creative Center)

A Daejeon Museum of Art branch in the old downtown, housed at the former Daejeon Creative Center site on Daejong-ro. The building has been refocused as a dedicated venue for Daejeon-born modern sculptor Choi Jong-tae, while the museum still identifies it through the Daejeon Creative Center lineage.

Why it matters now

The venue is currently hosting its opening exhibition on Choi Jong-tae through October 18, 2026, so it is especially useful as a cultural anchor for this month’s Daejeon itineraries.

Why go

It is a compact art stop in Daejeon’s old downtown, close to Jungangno Station and the Sungsimdang main-store area, making it easy to combine contemporary/local art with a central-city walk.
